Tesla Motors Inc (TSLA), the electric-car maker that reported a fourth-quarter loss on revenue of $1.75 billion in February, launches the much-awaited Model 3 today with early pre-orders jumping to 180,000 from 100,000. Analysts however are cautious on possible short-lived upturn in Tesla’s stock value.

Consumer product manufacturers have not been immune to the slowdown in global markets, particularly with fiscal tension in Latin America and Asia.

Millennial managers, geopolitical tension and complex currency headwinds, including bond issuance in countries like Poland, Brazil and China, have built dubious minds about conglomerates like Carrefour SA (CA.FP), Colgate-Palmolive Co (CL), Johnson & Johnson (JNJ), Kellogg Co (K), the Kraft Heinz Co (KHC), Nestle SA (NSRGY), and the Procter & Gamble Co (PG), amid challenging competitive environment too.
